Critical:
- Performs financial analysis, including P&L statements, financial notes, depreciation, working capital, investment performance, and other impacts such as legal settlements, and private equity ownership.
- CPA background is a big plus

Description:
The Vendor Risk and Data Office (VRDO) has responsibility for incorporating complex vendor-related risk assessments into the sourcing process to influence vendor selection, maintain critical vendor data, and establish best practices to manage performance throughout the vendor engagement lifecycle.
VRDO established a vendor financial risk assessment program with executive oversight, that works with vendors and key business executives to assess financial risk and develop risk mitigation plans.
Develops, interprets and implements financial concepts for financial planning and control. Performs technical analysis to determine present and future financial performance. Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations for financial plans, acquisition activity, trended future requirements and operating forecasts. Performs economic research and studies in the areas of return, depreciations, working capital requirements, investment opportunities, investment performance and impact of governmental requirements.

Essential Functions:
•Works on issues of diverse scope.
•Receives assignments as objectives and determines how to use resources to meet these goals and schedules.
•Requires significant planning and direction setting to coordinate with other divisions or resources.
•Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect the immediate function.
•Monitors projects to ensure completion on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications - External
Basic Qualifications:
Experience
•Minimum two (2) years of management experience.
•Minimum five (5) years of related experience.

Education
•Bachelor's degree in related field

Additional Requirements:
•Requires full knowledge of own area of functional responsibility and working knowledge of another function.
•Must be able to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Minimum five (5) years experience and full knowledge in reviewing vendor financial statements and third-party vendor financial assessments.
Notes:
•Leads the vendor financial risk assessment process evaluating KP vendor financial stability through the use of internal and external tools and financial statements provided by the vendor.
•Performs technical analysis to determine present and future vendor financial performance.
•Gathers, analyzes, prepares and summarizes recommendations based on vendor financial data and trending.
•Performs financial analysis, including P&L statements, financial notes, depreciation, working capital, investment performance, and other impacts such as legal settlements, and private equity ownership.
