Job Title: Business Analyst Expert Location: Oakland, CA Duration: 6 Months Job Description: CLIENT LAPTOP WILL BE PROVIDED ADDITIONAL IMPORTANT INFO • Prefer local Bay Area candidates within commute distance to Oakland The following are the top 4 skills: 1) Financial management and advanced excel skills 2) Business Analysis and Data management skills 3) Problem solving skills and lead meetings 4) PowerPoint skills to present findings Specific types of analytics and reporting may include performance dashboards, business analytics, modeling, budgeting, and forecasting. Experience required:
5 years of experience in a similar role.
Financial Reporting (detail and leadership overviews) – Excel and powerpoint skills to provide monthly reporting Variance analysis (forecasts vs actuals) – Able to articulate the drivers behind the variances between actuals vs budget and Forecast
Forecasting – Ability to input a monthly forecast for expense related transactions
Ad Hoc financial analysis
Strong Microsoft Power BI and advanced excel capabilities
Qualifications Minimum:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related discipline or equivalent work experience.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Project, Visio, PowerPoint and expert level Excel skills
5 to 8 years of related work experience
