The candidate will design, develop, test, and maintain microservices and REST APIs for healthcare applications. S/he will also support production services by assessing impact, analyzing, prioritizing, and resolving issues in a timely manner. Write high quality code with attention to scalability, security, and performance. Ensure overall quality by actively participating in design and code reviews and ensure standards, best practices are followed. Team member will work using Agile practices. S/he will collaborate with DevOps, Infrastructure, Operations, and other development teams to ensure the right solution is delivered with an end-to-end mindset. Required Skills & Experience:
4-7 years of strong experience developing REST APIs
2+ years of experience developing microservices
4+ years of experience developing with Spring, SpringBoot, Java
4+ years of experience with SQL and RDMS database
1+ years of experience with NoSQL database
4+ years of experience writing unit tests and some experience with test-first development
1+ years of experience with messaging technologies (RabbitMQ, cloud messaging, etc)
1+ years of experience with log analysis tools (SPLUNK, Elastic stack, etc)
Developing and deploying REST APIs, microservices using CI/CD pipeline to cloud
Familiarity with exposing and securing APIs using an API management solution
Experience with all phases of software development. You have been there, done that multiple times.
Strong problem solving skills
Proactive and life-long learner
Education:
Bachelor of Computer Science/IT is preferred
Desired Skills:
Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services: API Manager, App Configuration Manager, Kubernetes, Service Bus
Experience with cache technologies (Redis, Coherence, etc.)
