RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create customer records, prepare and e-mail invoices, record customer receipts.
Collections will not likely be a responsibility.
Other responsibilities may be added over time.
SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Some bookkeeping education/experience is required. Experience is preferred.
Positive attitude, quick learner, good people skills, polite, professional, reliable.
Must be OK with doing repetitive work.
Must be OK with having a variable schedule (see below).
Good computer and Internet skills.
Experience w/ NetSuite, Outlook and Acrobat are plusses, but not required.
REPORTS TO: Treasurer/Controller.
SCHEDULE:
Part-time.
Due to the fluctuating work volume, the number of work hours and the schedule will vary at times. In most weeks, the schedule will probably be for 10-15 hours and involve coming into the office 1-3 days. This could change if other responsibilities or projects are added.
There is a good chance that some periods will be busier and will require more work to be done (e.g., month-end).
This is an "at will" position.
This is a W-2 position.
This is not an internship.
