Busy office in Orange has an immediate opening for an extremely organized individual to join our accounting department. This individual will be cross trained in multiple areas of the department with the ultimate goal to function in various capacities as needed. Position requires diligence, with the desire and aptitude to learn these skills in a timely fashion. Must be fast paced and able to stay on task when switching between duties. Must be detailed and understand the importance of accuracy and confidentiality.
Requirements:
Must have a minimum of 3 years experience in accounting
Minimum 1 year in payroll
Proficient in Excel
Must know 10-key by touch, with speed and accuracy
Computer savvy, ie, able to work with multiple windows, navigate between programs, learn new programs, etc.
Detail oriented and have the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Pleasant personality with the ability to remain calm under pressure
Stable employment history.
Once trained, must be able perform duties with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Able to work independently, as well as with a team.
