Bey & Associates, CPA is one of Washington, DC's top small CPA firms servicing a strong base of entrepreneurial and professional clients in a wide range of industries. Beyond our core accounting and tax preparation services, we also provide financial analysis, organizational consulting and advanced tax minimization strategies.
We are currently opening a new office in Anaheim Hills, CA and seeking a Senior Tax Accountant to increase our servicing capacity.
OUR PURPOSES
1. To help clients keep more of their hard earned money through Proactive tax planning and education
2. To give clients peace of mind knowing that their taxes are done accurately and filed timely, and they have an expert team on their side to assist them with any tax notices and financial issues, thus freeing up their attention units to do what do best and flourish and prosper.
YOUR MISSION:
To take great care of our clients by providing:
- Accurate and timely filed tax returns,
- On time tax planning,
- Accurate and timely prepared financial statements,
- High speed of responsiveness to IRS notices and clients' questions
In a second stage, you will take more responsibility for our most important accounts and will directly contribute to the expansion of the company.
REQUIRED TECHNICAL AND ADMINISTRATIVE COMPETENCIES:
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA). If you are not certified, we can plan to help you get your license as a bonus/incentive.
- Expert knowledge of tax preparation (both individual and business - 1120S, 1120 & 1065)
- Expert knowledge in QuickBooks
- Must be performance-driven.
- Must be a defender of the Founder's purpose.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
You must have minimum 3 years of experience in a public accounting firm servicing small businesses where you had to deal with multiple clients and working routinely on the following activities:
- Preparing business returns (1065, 1120S & 1120), and personal tax returns with multi states
- Assisting clients with IRS notices and other compliance issues
- Preparing quarterly tax projections and year-end tax projections
- Assisting them with Quickbooks set up and ongoing support
- Preparing financial statements
- You have to enjoy servicing clients and maintaining a strong relationship with them.
- Experience with Ultra Tax software a big plus.
- Experience with Thomson Reuters suite of products such as File Cabinet, Practice CS, etc is a plus.

PLANNED SALARY AND OTHER COMPENSATIONS:
Depending on your experience and performance record, you will receive a base pay of $55,000 to $85,000+ per year, plus bonuses and/or profit sharing.
