Eden Centers for Advanced Fertility is actively seeking a staff accountant to assist the CFO and Controller in day-to-day accounting functions for our growing practices in Orange and San Diego counties. We are looking for a polished and flexible professional to join our exceptional team. The successful candidate must be detail-oriented, have experience with accounts payable, revenue accounting, and has a high-level understanding of the respective business cycle and associated accounting processes. Activities include managing all aspects of accounts payable as well as performing reconciliations of bank accounts, recording revenue/collections, and posting to the general ledger. The Staff Accountant is expected to have a strong understanding of GAAP, and is comfortable with accrual accounting, including journal entries and intercompany accounting. The qualified candidate for this diverse and demanding role will have a Bachelors Degree in accounting with a minimum of three years experience supporting a medical office. Candidates must be highly proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel. Strong organizational and communication skills (written/verbal) are imperative as well as having a high level of attention to detail, the ability to solve problems, and handle multiple and simultaneous priorities in a professional and personable manner. Applicants must have a strong work ethic and be self-motivated.
