This is a mid-level Manager position, where we are looking for individuals who can go above and beyond in Customer Service. Core Job Duties:
Assists Nurses in developing and posting a work schedule for all care staff. Manages the schedule through out the month, documenting all changes on the schedule, and making arrangements for staff replacement during absences. Covers shifts as necessary. Tracks caregiver attendance and takes appropriate corrective action as necessary. Assists in the completion of time records.
Coordinates services and assignments for and with caregivers assigned to area. Assures caregiver skills matches the needs of assigned residents.
Coordinates move-in of all residents as assigned. Reviews pre-admission appraisals and physician reports. Assures that all residents and/or potential residents meet the criteria for acceptance and retention.
Maintains resident file and assures that all information is accurate and up-to-date including physician reports, physician orders, and service plans.
Meet with families and residents to create and maintain service plans and appraisals. Documents meetings, service plans and level of care evaluations on appropriate forms.
Makes rounds daily to greet residents as assigned to evaluate services including care, food intake, housekeeping, activity participation, and apartment maintenance. Visits each resident in their apartment at least weekly but more often if appropriate or necessary.
Performs other duties as may be required.
