Customer Service Representative and Shipping Coordinator
This is an opportunity to join a growing customer service team within a boutique food and wine distributor. We are looking for an individual to assist our growing client base. The ideal applicant will have the ability to multi-task by managing multiple conversations with customers at a time as well as coordinating varying shipments on a daily/weekly basis. They will be able to take initiative, have excellent organizational skills, are detail-oriented, and have the ability to work closely with multiple teams. We are looking for a full-time direct hire that fits into our tight knit customer support team. The office hours are 9:00 – 5:30 Monday through Friday. Candidates will have 3 years or more experience in a customer service role.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
· High School Diploma
· Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook)
· Minimum of 3 years customer service experience
· WSET1/WSET2 a plus
TECHNICAL & PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
· Wine industry knowledge (preferred)
· Detail orientated
· Excellent communication in English (verbal and written)
· Time management skills
· Highly organized
· Ability to Multi-task
· Computer and internet skills (Shopify, ShipWorks a plus)
· Strong planning and scheduling capabilities
· Ability to problem solve, and take initiative on incoming requests
· Restaurant industry experience a plus
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned:
· Communicate directly with customers via phone and email
· Order entry
· Communicate and work closely with Sales and Warehouse teams
· Planning and scheduling deliveries and shipments
· Providing order history reports and shipping information to customers
· Online updates of customer requests
· Performs any other responsibilities as necessary regarding the operational needs of the organization.
