I am looking for a child care assistant for a licensed home daycare. Permanent part-time position.
The hours are approximately 35-40 hours per week. Candidate must be willing to work any hours needed between 8 am and 5 pm Monday through Friday.
You will be working with approximately 10-12 children from ages 4 months to 5 years. Experience working with children in a professional work environment is preferred.
Job description would include but is not limited to: maintaining a clean, safe, loving and nurturing environment for the children, meeting the basic needs of the children including but not limited to: feeding, changing, toileting, washing hands, interacting with children for support play, outdoors play, arts and crafts, preparing lunch, and be able to provide a positive role model. Some domestic duties required. Must be a self starter to work as part of a team. Must be dependable, reliable and energetic. Must have reliable automobile and have a positive attitude.
Must pass a livescan background check.
Must have or get tb tine tested within the last year
Must have or get immunization for whooping cough
Must have or get immunization or titer test for measles
Must acquire CPR and First aid certification within 30 days of employment.
Must take Mandated reporting class online within 60 days after employment
