Coding Instructor / Teacher / Coach (teaching coding experience required)
Work Location: One location (Orange County, CA)
Part-time: Weekdays & Weekends (Flexible Schedule)

Qualifications:
Coding Skills: knowledge of one or more languages: Javascript, PHP, HTML/CSS, Python, Java and C (deep technical skills aren't necessarily required) - we prefer you communicate and empathize well with your students.
Big bonus for knowledge in Raspberry Pi & Arduino robotics/programming, game development and app development (Unity).
Great Communicator: frequently chatting with students/parents and often necessary to explain concepts in a few different ways.
Kid at heart: understand what gets kids excited.
Experience teaching kids is a plus
Who are we?
We are a start-up company eager to teach kids ages 5-17 to code in a fun, non-intimidating way by playing and building video games they love. This is an after-school drop-off program. This is a part-time position, depending on your schedule and availability. These hours can generally be sometime between 3pm 7pm on the weekdays and/or between 9am to 3pm on weekends.

We are looking for Coding Coaches / Instructors / Teachers to join our team of dynamic, energetic, forward thinking minds, working toward our common goal: providing a fun, creative and safe learning environment for kids. Our coaches are the backbone of the kids success. They oversee the day-to-day coaching and student engagement. We are seeking coaches with experienced in teaching coding to kids. Our ideal coaches will have a passion to teach and build problem solving skills in kids, patience, and a great communicator.
Responsibilities include:
Training go through the curriculum and learn it to coach students
Create a positive and safe environment in which students can grow
Work with children to determine skill sets
Provide feedback to parents after working with student
Follow opening/closing duties daily
Report weekly to manager on students progress
Report daily to manager with respect to days activities, efficiency & productivity
