If you have experience in martial arts, an enthusiastic attitude & would enjoy working with youth, please apply for this part-time position! No teaching experience necessary, we provide training on how to instruct youth and provide curriculum.
Requirements:
17 years of age or older
Red/Brown/Black Belt
Reliable transportation
Valid drivers license
Auto Insurance kept current
Specific Locations for Karate:
Fullerton - Thurs
Lake Forest Fri
(other programs & cities available cheer, hip-hop dance & soccer)
Salary:
Great base pay PLUS merchandise sales commission; paid training is provided along with a dynamic martial arts curriculum, covering all facets of self-defense.
One or two evenings a week or Saturday mornings.
POSITION:
Our youth program teaches defense skills effective against "Bullies" and "Strangers" and a full range of Martial Arts techniques necessary for ranking purposes up to the Black Belt level. We hold Karate Tournaments where students can compete in 6 different events.
The position involves preparing for class, teaching students, overseeing initial class registrations and weekly check-ins, and very basic record-keeping. This is one of the most fun part-time and rewarding jobs you can imagine!

Since 1987, Young Champions has taught children ages 5 to 15 various sports and recreation activities. Our goal is to enhance self-esteem, build self-confidence, foster positive socialization and promote physical fitness. Our sports and recreation programs are held in various community facilities. Students are placed in co-ed classes according to age and belt level.
