Folks Pizzeria is a proud family-owned restaurant with a positive and well-functioning group operating at a high level of service. We are a full-service pizzeria with a elevated casual service style.
Folks Pizzeria was born as a dine-in experience with an artisanal menu built to share. The seasonal menu celebrates many of California s local ingredients on a pizza crust that you won t find anywhere else. The revolving wine list is a completely natural wine list where great effort is made to always feature small California producers. Folks Pizzeria is located in Costa Mesa, Calif. Our doors opened in May of 2019 with a simple goal of being your neighborhood joint.
DESCRIPTION:
To effectively support our General Manager in managing all aspects of operations including but not limited to working the day to day service, maintaining a full and quality staff roster, creating and adhering to company policy, applying/implementing daily operational standards, tracking progress and assuring guest satisfaction. Emphasis is on perfecting daily service from open to close by maximizing sales, motivating staff and providing great customer service in order to drive growth. Have lead by example attitude while optimizing delegation among leaders. Other responsibilities include monitoring compliance and reporting information to leaders and executives.
Duty overview includes support our general manager in the following but not limited to :
Maintaining standards of procedures, conduct staff meetings, compliance, reporting, reconciling, handling supplies, and ordering.
Upkeep restaurant s physical appearance.
Motivating, training, educating, disciplining, scheduling, hiring, terminating staff
Recruit, onboard, train and inspire an exceptional front of house team.
Handle guest interactions in its whole totality and ensure guest satisfaction.
Participate in minimizing waste of beverage, supplies, and labor cost.
Maintain a positive work place, be hands on and take action.
Perform all other related duties assigned by executives to ensure a well orchestrated restaurant.
QUALIFICATIONS
1 year of leadership role: Lead Server, MOD, Floor manager, manager
Experience in FOH roles including hosting, expediting, server and leadership positions.
Proven experience in staff training and management within the full service restaurant style.
Excellent team management and interviewing skills specific to restaurants.
Proven eye for detail and quality.
Job Type: Full-time 40+ HOURS
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year + Potential Bonuses
