Lido Bottle Works is looking for new servers with at least 3 years serving experience in full-service restaurants. Both Fast Casual and Fine Dining is recommended.
Have a strong understanding of craft beer, wine and New American cuisine.
Cicerone and Sommelier qualifications are also recommended.
Take food and drink orders and deliver food accurately and efficiently.
Fully understand and operate POS systems and undergo extensive training and testing with a passing
score for adequate understanding.
Be prepared to explain Seasonal menu items, including food content and preparation style and be able to
undergo extensive training and testing with a passing score for adequate understanding.
Be familiar with daily specials and present to guest in a timely manner.
Ensure consistency in preparation and presentation of food and drink items before serving to guest.
Follow all standard food handling, sanitation and health department guidelines.
Work as a team player with all restaurant staff. Must be upbeat, outgoing and positive in a fast-paced
environment.
Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Understand and use the proper procedures to minimize guest walk-outs.
Present guest check and process utilizing proper policies and procedures for cash or credit card.
Remain up-to-date on events within the restaurant.
Know all dining room floor plans and understand the seat number system.
Strictly adhere to the rules and regulations established in the employee handbook and the restaurant
policies.
Follow proper payroll, uniform, and grooming policies and procedures.
Attend and contribute to all staff meetings, pre-shift meetings, other departmental meetings and
trainings as scheduled.
Maintain open communication with the Culinary staff as well as the FOH Management during all
hours of operation.
Respond properly in any emergency or safety situation and is well versed in all procedures.
Utilize proper greetings and restaurant policy at all times.
Recognize and address any problems resulting from guest complaints, intoxication or disruptive
behavior.
Notify management of unsafe conditions, needed maintenance of tables, chairs and/or
equipment and any accidents.
Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time.
Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. as needed and assist in other lifting of objects as requested.
Continuous use of hands and arms and continuous bending, reaching and twisting.
Must live in Orange County and have adequate means of transportation.
Must have a flexible and open schedule week to week and ability to work both lunch and dinner shifts, with emphasis on weekend shifts
