Point Holistic Wellness acupuncture clinic is looking for maternity leave coverage. We are a woman-owned practice with a strong focus on fertility.
Looking for an acupuncturist for maternity leave coverage available from the middle of Dec to mid Feb (possibly longer), with the opportunity to fill in the future. Prior experience in fertility is recommended but will train the right person.
Pay is $50 per cash patient and 50% of insurance, incentive for bringing in patients with higher pay for new patients.
Our clinic space is a collective environment of wellness practitioners with another acupuncturist, chiropractor, massage therapist, reiki and qi gong practitioners. We often share patients so active communication is an important part of the environment.
Required Qualifications:
· A Masters or Doctorate in either Ac or Om/Cm.
· Current with CA licensing
· Malpractice coverage, covering full scope of practice
· Must be available 2 days a week (Wed and Fri are ideal though may be able to change days if needed)
· Must be able to stay until 7 one of those days
· Ability to see patients every 30 mins, running 2-3 rooms at a time
· Knowledge or interest in fertility acupuncture and women’s health
Ideal candidate would be:
· A provider who has a special interest in fertility acupuncture and women's health. But will be happy to treat any patient no matter the reasons.
· A provider who has their own practice and is looking to supplement with more work or expanding their knowledge base. Or a practitioner who has taken time off and looking to see patients again.
· Open to learning specific protocols for fertility.
· A kind and gentle provider with a great bedside manner.
· An acupuncturist who is interested in joining as a part of a team while also valuing independence at the office since on your days you may be the only provider.
· Someone who is willing to learn (or already able to use) online scheduling and online charting for patients (Jane). Proficiency and comfort with computers is required.
· An acupuncturist who enjoys staying current with research in our field and is comfortable using western terminology to explain how acupuncture works
· A provider with an interest in functional medicine concepts.
