Immediate hiring of full and part time (weekend) caregivers.
We are looking for competent Caregivers to care for our clients in a professional and compassionate manner. It’s an often demanding job as you will have to be available for most of the day and week. But, it can also be very satisfying and rewarding, since people who are ill, injured, disabled or elderly are thankful for high quality assistance. The ideal candidate will be patient and friendly with excellent communication skills. You should be able to follow instructions and perform a variety of tasks to help clients. We are looking for committed individuals who have excellent communication skills and are able to problem solve on the spot.

Responsibilities
Help clients with reminders to take prescribed medication and monitor patient medications ; update health charts, including assistance and reminders to take medications.
Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside. Promote resident well being through ongoing social and physical stimulation,(encouraging daily movement); including spiritual, cultural and intellectual needs of each resident.
Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
Ensure highest client safety and well-being
Plan and prepare meals
Maintain open communication between families and health care professionals regarding clients medical and emotional condition
Perform light housekeeping duties
Be a pleasant and supportive companion
Report any unusual incidents
Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
Skills
Proven experience as a caregiver (at least one year)
Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid (CPR)
Knowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraints
Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
Respectful and compassionate, dependable and kind
Good time management skills
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Strong ethics
Physical endurance
High school diploma or equivalent
At least 18 years old
Pass a criminal background check, drug screening , physical exam and TB Test.
Must attend 40 hours training and ongoing training each year as needed.
Basic computer skills
Have own personal transportation
Job Benefits
Earn $15 - $20 per hour
90 day bonus - $1.00/hr raise (subject to performance evaluation)
