We are in search of 2 in-home care givers for our 93 year old mother. This is a direct hire opportunity, not through an agency.
You MUST have at least 5 years of very recent service experience. The hours and days can be flexible. We are looking primarily for someone who can cover up to three 12 hr. shifts per week. We love our mother dearly and we actually do some of the caregiving ourselves.
There are several cameras throughout the house for our mother's safety.
We are willing to pay up to $25.00 per hr. for the right individuals. Paid by check every week. You will be responsible to claim this as income and pay your own taxes. We will not be doing the withholding for you.
We will do extremely thorough background checks, we will require at least 2-3 recent, solid references, you will be required to be livescanned / fingerprinted.
You must speak English, cannot ignore her, or spend half of your day on your cell phone / texting. We prefer that the only cell phone use is for emergencies.
Duties will include assisting with all typical household duties like dishes, laundry, cooking, interaction, happiness, bringing smiles to moms face, talking about the same childhood stories with her over and over, explaining that her husband has gone home to be with The Lord, and more. You MUST be a warm caring compassionate person that has a passion for God's work. Our mother is an angel, and deserves to be treated as such.
