We believe in striving for excellence and are looking for the right team member to fill our open MFT or LCSW position. Our company separates itself from most rehab centers by being comprehensive (we offer all five levels of care, detox, rehab, PHP, IOP and outpatient and by offering long-term extended care and recommending a year or longer of inpatient programming for our clients. This means an opportunity to work with your case load of clients up to a year or longer.

This is a Full-Time Salary Position $60,000 per year plus full-benefits and a great opportunity for a MFT or LCSW to expand their career horizon.

OVERALL FUNCTION:

As a Mental Health Clinician, in the Huntington Beach area, you will provide individual, group, and/or family therapy primarily to adults with psychiatric and affective disorders. Services are provided in our main office or at our residentially licensed homes. General administrative supervision is provided by the Clinical Director and the following represents the essential duties:

1. Conduct intake sessions and complete all required intake and assessment paperwork

2. Conduct individual, conjoint, and family sessions. Maintain caseload.

3. Conduct group sessions

4. Collaborate with collateral contacts including family, school personnel, referral sources,

residential team, as needed

5.Manage client charts and complete all documentation of work with clients, including

electronic paperwork to Progress Notes, on Office Allied System, ect. Must be timely, accurate

and comply with DMH standards, as well as agency standard and procedures

6. Case management activities could include telephone calls, advocacy work for clients as well

as other community outreach activities

7. Actively participate in the treatment planning of clients utilizing treatment team meetings,

supervision and available resources to help determine the best treatment modality for each

respective client

8. Outreach to the community for education/promotion of mental

health services

9. Participate in agency meetings, as well as assigned external meetings

10. Attend and participate in mandatory training and in-services as required.

11. Performs other related tasks and responsibilities as deemed appropriate by program

Minimum Qualifications:

Must possess a Master's degree in social work, psychology or other equiv. and must belicensed as LMFT or LCSW

Must have eligibility registration rights with the Board of Behavioral Science Examiners (BBSE)

Must be comfortable providing client centered services in a traditional outpatient setting.

Computer literacy a must. Experience with electronic records desirable (Office Ally knowledge preferred, but not necessary)

Experience with DMH policies and/or procedures. Must have knowledge of DMH services, documentation and billing process

Ability to manage time, deadlines, and be flexible in duties

Must pass criminal background check, reference check, physical, a recent TB test, First Aid/CPR certification in order to be employed.
