We are currently looking for a part-time physical therapy aide for our outpatient orthopedic/sports medicine private practice clinic.
Responsibilities include: assisting physical therapists with patient and non-patient care duties including: guiding patients through exercises, application of modalities, cleaning linens, cleaning treatment tables, and may include some occasional front office/administrative type duties. Those may include: answering phones, checking-in the patients, taking a co-pay, and patient greeting/scheduling. Additional duties may include marketing and social media posting

Bachelor of Science - Kinesiology or Biology or similar students who are looking to go to physical therapy school preferred. The last three aides we "lost" went to graduate schools. This job has been a "stepping stone" to graduate school for many of our former aides: PT and PTA programs, medical, nursing, and PA schools, etc. (I write a great referral letter, if earned).
You need to have a pleasant demeanor, a positive forward-thinking outlook, the willingness, and ability to work with others as a team member, great organization and multi-tasking skills and a desire to have a long-term position with our company while growing with us. Most importantly you will need to be dedicated to helping patients get the care they need. This is an hourly position that requires you to be able and willing to work to fill gaps in our schedule: approximately 8:00am to 6pm (hours will vary). Coverage on Saturday mornings per month may be required, if we have a rare Saturday.
