We are a well-established privately-owned physical therapy practice in Laguna Beach specializing in orthopedics and sports rehab as well as Pilates. We are looking for a physical therapy aide or athletic trainer to join our dynamic and energetic practice. Our clientele is a mix of post-surgical, sports injuries, and orthopedic patients, including runners, golfers, mountain bikers, surfers, skiers, collegiate, high school and junior athletes.
We desire a team member who is highly organized, reliable, flexible, able to multi-task and has excellent interpersonal skills.
Preferred qualifications:
⢠A background in the medical field or fitness industry.
⢠Experience or coursework in the following areas: exercise physiology, anatomy, physiology and/or kinesiology.
⢠Prior aide experience is preferred but not required.
⢠Technically sound with computers and willing to learn new programs
⢠Self-motivated, organized
Job Duties/Description
⢠Part time/Full time Physical Therapy Aide
⢠Work directly with Physical Therapists and Assistants on all clients/patients
⢠Guide patients/clients through exercise and training progressions established by the Physical Therapist
⢠Administer appropriate modalities (Ultrasound, electrical stimulation)
⢠Maintain an efficient, safe and clean work environment
⢠Answer phones, schedule patients, organize and maintain exercise cards
