Operator Work Description
Area of Performance: Furnace
Work Descriptions:
1. Get work plan for the day from supervisor.
2. Visually inspect the furnaces, notify supervisor for any issues.
3. Visually and mechanically inspect the measuring equipment being used.
4. Perform work required per part process control plan.
Sinter
Temper
Burn Off
Passivate
Blacken
Anneal
Infiltrating
Simultrating
5. Report any unusual noise or issues on both furnaces and product.
6. Fill out process travelers as required.
7. Clean as you go, maintain your work area clean and organized.
8. Keep the product process flow in the best priority time manner.
9. Wear required safety equipment and keep in mind safety awareness in your work area.
