JOB TITLE: Janitorial Operational Supervisor
DEPARTMENT: Janitorial
Full Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Supervisor to manage our field services workers. This position reports directly to the Director of Operations. A Supervisor’s duties will include:
Recruiting new employees and conducting training sessions at the facilities.
Assisting with administrative tasks in the field.
Relaying any concerns from the field employees to Management and HR.
Reviewing safety protocols.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-28.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday to Friday (Some Weekends)
Qualifications
· US citizen or Permanent Residency
· Lead or supervisory experience: 2 years (preferred)
· Cleaning: 3 years (preferred)
· Customer Service: 1 year (preferred)
· English and Spanish (Required)
· Reliable Transportation
· Must Pass a Background check
· Ability to create professionally written documents and emails
· An inherent sense of urgency to care for and respond to the needs of Director of Operations
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Regularly traveling to Los Angeles, San Diego, and Orange County facilities
Ensure all assigned duties are carried out, and that resources are efficiently utilized.
Providing any form of required assistance to the Area Supervisors and Director of Operations while they carry out their duties.
Assigns janitorial work to employees, following material and work requirements.
Inspects work performed to ensure conformance to specifications and established standards.
Train workers in janitorial methods and procedures and proper operation of equipment.
Performs Custodial work as needed during absences
Physical Demands:
Physical strength and agility are required to drive a vehicle up to 2 hours at a time, and operate cleaning, waxing and other equipment, to safely lift and carry cleaning equipment and bags of trash, and to repeatedly bend, stoop and twist. Working conditions include standing and/or walking for long periods of time and potential exposure to body fluids. Positions may require the ability to work irregular hours or to rotate shifts.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk. The employee is frequently required to stand and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
