Qualifications:
Must live in or around the Buena Park Area

- Clean DMV record required (Validated by HR before job offer)
- Maintaining a class C or better driver’s license
- High School Degree or Equivalent plus 2 years industry experience
- Strong writing and grammar skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Trustworthy and maintains confidentiality
- Contribute to team effort by performing additional duties as requested
- Ability to work harmoniously with the public and co-workers
- Highly organized, punctual and reliable
- Excellent problem-solver
- Strong attention to details and accuracy
- Computer skills and proficiency including Microsoft office and other cloud based products
- Communicate with Customers and dispatcher regarding repairs needed and work order status
- Ability to communicate effectively with exceptional customer relationship skills
- Provide quotes, including quotes for service salespeople, service technician work orders and parts
- Complete work orders, including inputting and verifying serial and model information
- Ability to read blueprints to determine the equipment needed for installation or repair
- Comply with safety regulations and building codes
- Ability to successfully prioritize and meet customer needs
- Knowledgeable in basic hand tool and power tool functions
- Ability to properly diagnose and repair a variety of equipment
- Manage and control van inventory, including stocking and organizing
- Install or repair elevator doors, cables, motors, and control systems
- Locate malfunctions in brakes, motors, switches, and control systems etc.
- Test newly installed equipment to ensure it meets specifications.
- Adjust counterweights, door mechanisms, and safety controls
- Comprehend test equipment, such as ammeters, voltmeters, and other test equipment considered tools of the trade to diagnose problems

Shifts will vary based on business needs (likely Monday-Friday 8:00 am-5:00 pm.) May be required to work weekends and holidays.
