My renters insurance denied my claim. I have a luxury apartment and $300,000 insurance coverage for personal property. I went to Vegas and my luggage was stolen and I do have a police report.
I went through all the process with the insurance. They asked me to send an itemized list of items that were taken during the theft. I did this, but they are claiming some of the items are fraud because they are showing up as returned receipts. However, I do have statements from department stores, showing that the transactions were legitimate. Simply need to take my insurance to court and looking for an attorney to agree to a percentage or flat free for just filing for me.
