Orange County apparel screen printer seeking a full-time shipping receiving clerk/warehouse lead to join our company. Responsible for forklift operation, receiving, order picking and packing, pulling inventory and pre-production orders.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Examining all blank apparel and comparing with packing slip or purchase order to verify accuracy.
Assist with receiving of all incoming apparel by way of forklift or pallet jack and physically moving incoming apparel to allocated storage areas.
Communicating with both company and customer supervisors to rectify problems such as damages, shortages, and quality control.
Maintaining proficient inventory counts and tracking within company wide operating systems while maintaining accurate documentation such as work orders, bill of lading and packing lists.
Organizing and maintaining available space for both shipping and receiving, seasonal storage, and picking library while planning for current and future production requirements.
Operating forklifts to pick heavy boxes and transport them to checking areas. Assist in loading and unloading trucks and determining safe ways of stacking items on the truck and retrieving items in a safe manner.
Qualifications:
Must have 2+ years of warehouse, distribution and/or stockroom experience.
Certifications for both sit down and stand up forklifts.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) or equivalent
Able to work effectively in a team environment
Must be able to lift up to fifty (50) pounds
Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time
Ability to operate materials handling equipment as needed (fork lift, pallet jack, etc.)
Fluently speak, read and write English
Fluent in Spanish a plus
