What You'll Bring (Requirements):
A minimum of 2-5 years of direct, hands-on experience installing, programming, and servicing electronic security systems.
Demonstrable expertise and proficiency with Honeywell's Vista series panels and the broader Ademco line of security products.
Strong working knowledge of low-voltage systems, including intrusion alarms, access control, and CCTV.
Must possess or be able to obtain and maintain a California Alarm Company Employee (ACE) card from the Bureau of Security and Investigative Services (BSIS). We provide full support and guidance for this process.
Valid California Driver's License with a clean driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities):
Install, program, service, and troubleshoot Honeywell/Ademco intrusion alarm systems and associated peripheral devices.
Perform installation and maintenance of integrated low-voltage systems, including CCTV (IP cameras, NVRs) and Access Control (card readers, electronic locks).
Conduct comprehensive system testing, diagnostics, and preventative maintenance to ensure optimal performance and compliance with industry standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to ensure accurate and efficient installation and service.
Provide exceptional customer service, including training end-users on system operation and clearly communicating service findings.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all work performed using company work order systems.
Manage and maintain inventory of parts, tools, and equipment in your company-provided vehicle.
