We are immediately hiring outdoor canvassers to survey residents about important issues for the upcoming election at their homes throughout Orange County. We are supporting candidates for the upcoming election by handing out literature and asking voters what their top issues are for the November 3rd election. You must be able to memorize and communicate political issues that you may not hold personally. We have many clients this cycle, some of them hold conservative views.
This is a full-time position that requires 8 hours a day, 5 days per week of walking door to door through neighborhoods speaking to residents. You must have a smartphone, you must have a vehicle, you must commit to full-time work, you must be able to pass a background check. Days are flexible, so choose 2 weekend days to work (Friday, Saturday or Sunday) and three weekdays of your choosing. This is a temporary position that ends after the November 3rd election.
Interviews and trainings are being held daily, but we are looking to hire only 12 people at this pay rate and for this schedule. You will be a core team of canvassers/surveyors and given special treatment, significantly increased pay, and privileged information about the projects. We will hire 3 people to canvass the Costa Mesa area, the Irvine area, the Fullerton area, and the San Clemente area.
Do not apply if you have not read this job description in its entirety. This is easy work that requires outdoor walking and the ability to communicate and record voter opinions. You will move from neighborhood to neighborhood, knocking 200 doors per day, surveying voters on your smartphone, and handing them flyers. You must dress well, speak clearly, and positively represent candidates and issues. Due to COVID you must also wear a mask and maintain social distancing. All relevant trainings will be paid and provided.
