Ebay Lister
This is a full-time position to test electronics and list them for sale on ebay. A Lister's duties include:
We are looking for someone with experience as a computer or electronic technician. You will need to identify, diagnose and document hardware failure or software problems on a variety of computer or computer-related equipment. You will need to upgrade all hardware such as memory and hard drive , load software.
RESEARCHING to learn about different electronics and their eBay value, and how they should be working.
TESTING to ensure full functionality and refurbish items when they need to be repaired.
WRITING detailed descriptions on the test result as well as cosmetic results.
CLEANING each item and removing non manufacturer stickers
PICTURES of all parts of the item and of any cosmetic issues
Successful listers are hard-workers, have EXCELLENT computer skills, have good writing skills, are technologically inclined, and are self-motivated. The wide variety of items we work with helps to keep the job interesting and challenging. Having eBay, Craiglist, Amazon listing experience is a plus. The testing of the electronics is done in a warehouse environment and does require physical work like sorting and organizing large quantities of electronics, therefore the candidate must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. Having warehouse experience is also a plus.
