Experienced Lead Developer for developing digital strategy, offers, and experiences to drive the growth and loyalty of existing and prospective clients and accelerate Schwab's digital transformation.

This role is part of the Digital Services team at Schwab, focused on improving the customer journey for our clients. The journey model is insights-driven and focuses on rapid iterations to drive innovation and transformation. What you are good at

• Responsible for overall technical delivery for a defined customer journey.
• Work closely with other technologists to define the digital strategy for the firm.
• Design, development, deployment of UI code.
• Works as a team member with product manager, UX, CX, data and their tech teammates to deliver complete solutions.
• A thorough understanding of web architecture, J2EE, messaging middleware, application integration, and tooling
• Solid hands-on experience in a mission-critical mid-tier production environment.
• Effective communication skills, ability to read and write high and mid-level architecture documentation.
• Development experience consist of deployed, large distributed systems across multiple platforms, using angular, net core, cloud(PCF preferable). Awareness of emerging technologies/standards is required. E
• Experience building frameworks for a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) or Web Services initiative is preferred but not required.

• Bachelor's in Computer Science or related discipline or relevant work experience.
• 8+ years' experience and demonstrate proficiency in web based development languages, specifically HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript (ES6), Angular/React/Polymer and .Net Core/C# or Java.
• 8 years hands on experience in software development, execution and maintenance
• Proven team leadership experience
• Proven knowledge of Web Content Management
• Proven ability of working and leading multiple projects and releases, balancing time and effort for successful deliver
• Proven experience as a leader/trainer in a large, complex development organization, with a demonstrated ability in leading a risks
• Proven experience with distributed multi-tier applications, WMI, NO SQL databases and SQL is preferred
• Prior Technical lead experience providing mentoring, code review, design support, etc
• Proven ability to compose and deliver technical presentations or other forms of documentation to various levels of technical and non-technical management
• Exceptional customer focus and ability to work with UX designers and product management to flesh out detailed UI design
• Proven ability in delivering solid, secure, performance front-end code and contribute to the design of back end APIs
• Proven ability to analyze, propose and implement timely, cost effective, quality solutions for all issues or problems within area of responsibility
• Experience with leading, guiding and providing direction and feedback to seasoned and unseasoned engineers whose main objective is to maintain all aspects of the overall software development life-cycle and ensure the on-time, quality delivery of software product releases.
• Financial, Trading, brokerage services industry experience is a plus
