We invite you to join us in delivering humankindness, one person at time.#RN-DHResponsibilitiesAbout this position:In keeping with the Dignity Health core values, the Clinical Nurse III (CNIII) in NICU is an RN with advanced skills who is an expert in Neonatal nursing care and is also capable of directing/coaching other NICU staff in the daily operations of the unit. The CNIII facilitates the smooth operation of the nursing unit. The CNIII acts as a mentor, preceptor, and resource for the Clinical Nurse I and II, as well as other staff members. The CNIII provides advanced consultation to other units and hospital staff regarding complex neonatal patient care problems.This position is represented by SEIU, Local 121RN, and is covered by the terms and conditions of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.KEY WORDS: NICU, NEONATAL, RN, CA, CALIFORNIA#RN@DHQualificationsMinimum Requirements:Three (3) to Five (5) years of current NICU experience required. Transport experience required.

Current California Registered Nurse License.

Current CPR certification and Neonatal resuscitation certification.

Evidence of ongoing education in advanced neonatal nursing is required. Evidence of lactation patient support education is required.

Certification in fetal monitoring is required within six months of employment.

Preferred Qualifications:Spanish speaking is preferred.

BSN is preferred and neonatal specialty certification is preferred.
