We are seeking an experienced Desktop Support Technician in the Palmdale, CA area to provide and support the Desktop Support Equipment (e.g. desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, scanners, plotters, printers, badge printers, conference room devices including audio / video, televisions, and fax machines), Desktop Support Images, and services environments including managing device images and the Desktop Support IT product order fulfillment process.This role will support the standard day shift, Monday through Friday. However, the candidate must be available for occasional on-call support for evenings and weekends.This is a high energy fast-paced environment. You need to be able to work independently as well as being a team player. Desktop Support Services to include:

  • Planning and consulting support for purchasing of hardware, software, and peripheral products
  • Core and application image build (physical, virtual, mobile) and deployment
  • Mobile devices and software management including: management, operations and technical support of the mobile device management platform, Factory Engineering and Image Deployment Services and other Desktop Support Services
  • IMACDs
  • Level 2 Support for Service Request fulfillment and Incident Resolution of Desktop Support Equipment and Desktop Support Software
  • End User computing access administration
  • Client confidential information

Skills and Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of related work experience, or AA degree, or technical training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • A+ Certification preferred
  • Windows 10 environment with some exposure to Mac
  • Conference room setup for AV support
  • Windows server support
  • VIP support
  • Networking
  • Desktop / laptop break-fix experience
  • PC image and backup experience
  • Device management experience
  • Solid experience and understanding of IT services and products
  • Enthusiastic about technology and willing to learn and stay on the cutting edge
  • Personable, relatable, and responsible when interacting with all customers
  • Strong communication skills to technical and non-technical listeners
  • Hungry to work hard and hungry to grow your career
