Our employees are not only part of history, they're making history. Northrop Grumman is seeking a Computer Systems Cyber Analyst to join our team in defining the future. This position will be located in Palmdale, CA. The qualified applicant will become part of Northrop Grumman's Information Technology support team. Roles and responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Develop computer systems specifications that address business cyber security requirements and that fit with the company's system architecture standards. Establish and document system parameters and formats, ensure hardware and software systems compatibility, and coordinate and/or modify system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities. Revise existing cyber systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage. Administer Windows Systems within strict security policies and procedures. Complete understanding and application on principles, concepts, practices, and standards as related to Windows OS. Create accurate, detailed technical procedures and installation instructions. Develop solutions to a variety of complex problems. Prepare security documentation for submission to the regulatory agencies as required. The successful applicant will demonstrate the ability to work in a team environment with engineering users, other systems administrators, and computer/facility organizations; the ability to multi-task and good communication skills, both verbal and written, are a must. Represent organization as a prime contact on contracts and projects; interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations; may develop and deliver presentations. Perform fairly complex tasks and participate in determining objectives of assignment; plan schedules and arrange own activities in accomplishing objectives; work is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. Basic Qualifications: Associate's degree and 11 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree and 9 years of experience, or Master's degree and 7 years of experience; a High School diploma/GED and 13 years of experience may be considered in lieu of a completed degree. Active Top Secret security clearance and the ability to maintain that security clearance as a condition of continued employment. Ability to be cleared to Special Access Programs. Extensive knowledge and experiencing supporting environments held to the standards of NIST 800-53. DoD 8570 Certificate Compliance (i.e. Security+, CASP, etc.). Preferred Qualifications: CISSP Certificate. CEH Certificate. Experience with Nessus. Experience with Solar Winds. Experience with Encase. Experience with Splunk. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
