Busy, upscale Mexican restaurant seeking an experienced Chef or Sous Chef with managerial skills.
Job duties & requirements include but are not limited to:
Ordering, creating prep lists and supervising prep, scheduling , ensuring safety & sanitation in the kitchen, equipment maintenance and working with the Management team to execute catering orders and excellent food quality in the dining room and for take out orders. Ability to create new specials and utilize product to move it in a timely manner. Knowledge of seafood and Mexican cuisine. Must have at least 2 years experience in a supervisory role. Servsafe or similar managers certificate a plus.
This is a year round, full time salaried position with bonus and benefit options available after a probationary period. Salary DOE. The position is available immediately.
