We are seeking a very meticulously organized housekeeper to care for a vacation home, year round. This home is mostly visited during 'season' (Fall and Winter) but needs to be maintained during the off-season. We are only accepting candidates who have excellent references and a knack for extreme organization as this household is always in perfect order, and will need to be maintained accordingly. For example, making sure the cabinets, drawers, closets, pantries, refrigerators, etc are always neat and tidy, with everything in it’s place, lined up nicely, etc. The home is approximately 19,000 sq ft and well maintained by a kind, small full-time staff.
In addition to keeping order in the home, you will be responsible for the deep cleaning and daily upkeep as needed. When the family is visiting, you must be comfortable working longer hours and assisting the needs for their day-to-day, sometimes staying past dinner time and cleaning up the kitchen afterward, laundry, assisting at dinner parties, large events, etc. When the family is out of town the hours will be much shorter and less demanding.
Although the schedule varies - some weeks you will have days off or work shortened hours and other times when the family is visiting you'll have longer days, this is a salaried job. Which works out nicely!
There are a few small and medium size dogs who visit - they are very sweet! - so the ideal candidate loves dogs and is very comfortable around them, can handle taking them for walks sometimes. Must have lots of energy to keep up with the hustle and bustle of the home! A great family to work with with excellent benefits.

Confident working as the solo housekeeper in the home at times
