Oakside Restaurant and Bar is peoples choice #1 hottest new restaurant in Big Bear Lake and we are now hiring for bar manager. This position is responsible for maintaining the highest standards for our guest and staff. The bar manager is responsible for the floor and overall direction of the employees. Must love working in a fast paced environment, has great customer service skills and can quickly resolve any issues that come up in a timely manner with a positive attitude!
Manager Duties & Qualifications:
2 years previous bar manager experience required.
Must have a valid drivers license and be able to obtain a San Bernardino food handlers card.
Have vast knowledge of companies menu, liquor, wine and craft beers.
Responsible for proper staffing levels, recruitment and development of new employees.
Promote positive communication with staff, restaurant manager, owners and guest.
Must be able to work nights, weekend & holidays.
This is a demanding job. Must be able to be on your feet for 8 to 10 hrs.
Ensure company standards for quality, service & cleanliness are upheld.
Must have hands on attention during peak periods and must rotate throughout the bar do what ever needs to be done including bussing, food running and/or bar backing.
Knowledge of POS systems is a plus.
MUST live in our beautiful little town Big Bear!
