Ardent Hospice of the Desert, Inc. is seeking a Full-Time/Per-Diem/Part-Time enthusiastic, compassionate, and organized RN to work in the Palm Springs/Desert area. This position is the ideal opportunity for the hospice nurse committed to raising the bar for hospice care. As a RN Case Manager, your ability to manage client care with specific knowledge and experience in bedside care, symptom management, crisis intervention and family intervention are feature assets for this high-profile nursing position. QUALIFICATIONS:
A. EDUCATION: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
B. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of one (1) year clinical nursing experience with hospice or home care experience preferred.
C. LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION: Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of California or in accordance with the Board of Nurse Examiners rules for Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC). CPR Certification. Must have a current California driver's license with current automobile insurance and adequate/dependable transportation.
D. EQUIPMENT/SKILLS: Must possess good assessment skills, understand accepted standards of practice, and be able to apply to clinical situations; able to problem-solve and make appropriate decisions in independent settings. Must posses excellent clinical documentation skills. Must be able to manage patient-specific equipment. Employment requires use of company provided computer and/or iPad skills. Job Type: Full-time.
