IMMEDIATE CARETAKER NEEDED in Pasadena… live in shared large spacious nice room. You have your own nook area within the room and new comfortable mattress and bedding. Nice family, beautiful 3-bedroom home, great neighborhood, home location near the hills for hiking. Perfect of students who are taking online courses. The home, outdoor area and neighborhood is great so easy to enjoy. ALL food and groceries will be paid for by the family.
The elderly individual you will be helping has Alzheimers (late 70's). You will be working as a night caretaker along with a female day caretaker. Both female or male caretakers are welcome to apply and will feel at home. There will be plenty of good humor and food. The night shift only requires getting up a few times for fall prevention. During the day, you have access to private rooms throughout the home to relax or work online. Other duties include cooking, cleaning, or giving the day caretaker a break during the day. The house is located in great upscale neighborhood near the hills.
Looking for someone who meets the following requirements:
-Must be able to start work IMMEDIATELY in Pasadena, CA
-Must be willing to work long-term 6 months minimum
-Must have NO other employment or familial responsibilities (work-from-home for another job is okay)
-Must be healthy, clean background & references
-Preferably under the age of 50 and able to lift about 40 lbs
-Willing to work the night shift and wake up with alarm 1-2x per night for fall prevention and share spacious large bedroom with your own area within room
-Be easy going and have extremely patient type personality for care taking
-Also due to the coronavirus, we are looking for a homebody type, to not put elder at risk.
-Someone who won’t need to leave the home unless for exercise outdoors.
