A well-established organization with multiple operating entities is seeking a Human Resources Manager to provide strategic and operational HR leadership. This role is responsible for overseeing all core human resources functions across affiliated business units and ensuring consistency, compliance, and alignment with organizational objectives.
Key responsibilities include end-to-end talent acquisition, employee relations, performance management, regulatory compliance, onboarding and separation processes, benefits administration, and the development and implementation of HR policies and programs. The Human Resources Manager will also be responsible for managing and ensuring compliance with California prevailing wage requirements, including wage determinations, classifications, reporting, and audit readiness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred.
Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources management or a senior generalist capacity.
Comprehensive knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws, with a strong understanding of HR best practices.
Demonstrated experience supporting HR operations across multiple business units, entities, or locations preferred.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal and organizational capabilities.
Proven ability to manage highly sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment.
Proficiency with HRIS platforms, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office applications.
Experience with California prevailing wage compliance strongly preferred.
Preferred Skills & Experience
Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR.
Prior experience within manufacturing, construction, or industrial environments.
Demonstrated ability to establish credibility and build effective working relationships with employees and leadership at all levels.
