the Church of St. Paul in the Desert is looking for a Facilities Manager/Sexton. You will have oversight of the church buildings, grounds, equipment, and machinery. Responsible for general maintenance, upkeep and problem solving.
Sexton duties (approximately 50% of your time) will be preparation of rooms for church functions including weekly coffee hours after church services, upkeep of the facility, coordinating with outside vendors, inventory and purchasing.
The other 50% of your time will be allocated to maintenance projects. We are looking for someone experienced with drywall/concrete/stucco repair; repair and replacement of ceiling and floor tiles/grout, etc. You will be responsible for coordinating with any outside contractors, as needed for larger projects.
Computer skills needed for recordkeeping and calendars.
