FreeVolt is looking for an Installer supervisor to assist in running our Palm Desert location. This will be a full-time position executing PV residential and commercial installs, main panel upgrades, installing batteries, and site surveys. Candidate needs to be well versed in solar, always on time, and a good leader.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Installing solar PV systems
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Arrive at the job site at the scheduled time
Act courteous and professional, respect the customers home
Work in all weather conditions
Climbing ladders and working at elevated heights of two or more stories,
Must be comfortably harnessed on a roof - some roofs may be steep in pitch
Ability to climb ladders, comfortably lift 50 lbs. repeatedly and overhead
Knowledge and comfort with OSHA safety standards and strict adherence to company safety policies regarding fall protection, protective equipment, tailgate training and more
Maintaining a professional appearance and character on all job sites and with all customers and at all times
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
2 Years of solar experience
Reliable Transportation
Must be willing to work overtime
Must be able to install batteries
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $35.00 per hour
