Interior Design Showroom and Workroom in creative RETAIL space. Manages Showroom activity. Interior Design projects, primarily furniture re-upholstery, custom draperies, window coverings and custom bedding ( Soft Furnishings). We manage the all aspects of projects from Interior Design Consulting, client management, production and installation.
CREATIVE ASSOCIATE POSITION-PART TIME
Previous experience working within the Interior Design field and RETAIL is desired. Knowledge and Interest in Industry practices and procedures is desired. This is a great way to learn about the Interior Design Industry. Proficient computer knowledge is required, preferably experience with QuickBooks, and thorough knowledge of Internet research is required.
If you have experience working with a small organizations and enjoy handling all tasks that come your way, this position is a good match for you.
Creative Associate Duties will include:
- Sales Associate in Showroom
- Answer phones and client inquiries
- Must be able to work independently in Showroom, when principal is out on site consultations
- Writing estimates and managing projects
- Assist with furniture pickup/delivery installations.
- Communicating with Workroom Associates
- Conducting Internet Research on prospective leads & creating Excel spreadsheets
- Organizing and Maintaining our Fabric, Sample Library
- Ordering materials for jobs
- Contact for outside vendors for materials
- Assist with some Quickbooks database

This is a PART TIME Position; Days and Hours- 16 hours per week, preferably on Wednesdays and Thursdays Must be flexible and possibly available additional days.
Compensation: $15 per hour
