Unicars Honda is currently looking for solid applicants for a couple of openings on our sales floor and internet sales department. Previous car sales experience will be considered, but is not necessary.
The potential for income at Unicars Honda is high. We have a few sales associates making upwards of 5,500 per month (2k base, 3500 commissions/spiffs/spins, etc.) If you give me the effort, determination and integrity that I am asking for, I will get you to that top tier in short order. When you know this job well, you will find yourself with a very lucrative and rewarding lifelong career.
If you excel at this job, opportunities for advancement are high. A promotion to finance manager usually means an increase in pay of about 10k per month. Finance managers at this dealership make upwards of 16-20k per month. Generally, if you’re performing well in sales you will most likely get a chance in finance within 24 months.
Qualities that I'm looking for in a successful sales associate are
-punctuality
-good hygiene and professional appearance
-determination
-good social skills and people skills
-sense of urgency and motivation for a better income (i.e. kids, spouse, car payments, rent)
Mostly all of those are preferably inherent traits, but they can also be trained. A general rule of thumb, if you make friends relatively easily, chances are you have the potential to earn a good living in car sales.
