Experienced Lighting Maintenance Technician - Maintenance Experience preferred
Immediate Opening. FULL-time late afternoon/evening work (8 hours Monday through Friday roughly 2:00 - 10:30pm) replacing lamps and minor light fixture adjustments outdoors within residential communities. From 2:00pm to 10:00pm in the cool of the day. Drive our service van from site to site in the Coachella Valley area according to a pre-arranged schedule.
MUST BE ABLE TO MAKE DETAILED NOTES AND BE ABLE TO ASSESS AND DESCRIBE LIGHTING ISSUES.
Requirements:
- Clean DMV record, 3 years of licensed driving history, and an active driver's license
- Must be able to pass drug test and physical
- Dexterity - ability to quickly disassemble light fixtures and reassemble them
- Ability to walk distances carrying a ladder and hand tools
- Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds
- Must have working knowledge of using hand tools (mainly a 10 in 1 screwdriver) - Must be comfortable with heights and climbing ladders up to 12 feet
- Willing to complete paperwork clearly, follow instructions, communicate with other staff members, and have a can-do attitude.
