Senior Cyber Security Engineer to provide Laboratory Cybersecurity Support for a position located at Point Mugu, CA. This position will lead cybersecurity efforts for AEA IPT information systems authorization under the Risk Management Framework (RMF) and report status to AEA IT leadership and command authorization boundaries. Job duties include:
Work with IT/IA members to generate and submit RMF artifacts for inclusion in various class/unclass command boundaries
Work closely with IT team to improve security posture of lab assets
Act as primary advisor on matters related to cybersecurity and RMF to AEA IT leadership and team members
Report deviations from laboratory cybersecurity posture for test events; advise if IATT required
Lead and train cybersecurity personnel on cybersecurity and RMF matters
Research secure technologies that provide additional capability to AEA IT team members in fulfillment of AEA mission
Product Cybersecurity Support
Work with IT/IA members to generate and submit RMF artifacts to USMC and NAVAIR program offices and VRAM in support of existing ATOs
Coordinate with program offices on performing security impact analysis for changes to existing products with ATOs
Work closely with IT and product development teams to improve security posture of existing deployed assets (Windows / Linux)
Act as primary advisor on matters related to cybersecurity and RMF to AEA IT leadership and product development teams
Review system architecture diagrams other technical documentation
Advise on cybersecurity/RMF requirements for new and existing designs
Coordinate ATO schedule with program office ISSMs
Attend product team meetings and advise on cybersecurity matters
Advise if IATTs required for test events
Review Fortify findings against source code and make cybersecurity recommendations to product development teams
DevSecOps
Research DoD initiatives for DevSecOps and cloud-based technologies
Work with IT/IA to develop strategies and requirements for implementing DevSecOps for rapid and continuous authorization
Qualifications
Required education and experience:
Bachelor's and fourteen (14) years of experience; or a Master's and twelve (12) years of experience.
At least five (5) years of cyber related experience.
Required clearance:
Must have an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
Required certification:
Must have a minimum CompTIA Security+ certification.
