SummaryYou will serve as a ADMINISTRATIVE/TECHNICAL SPECIALIST in the SHIP DEFENSE AND EXPEDITIONARY WARFARE DEPARTMENT of NAVAL SURFACE WARFARE CENTER.ResponsibilitiesYou will serve as the Ship Defense and Expeditionary Warfare Department Technical Operations representative responsible for fleet issues, concerns and actions.You will serve as the technical and administrative team member of the department management staff.You will provide services to key fleet commands as well as the total combat system program support community from waterfront assistance industrial and service activities.You will prepare and present related material at weekly Command Fleet Readiness Reviews and represents the department at meetings, reviews, and conferences.You will provide technical support and evaluation duties, creates and assigns actions, and monitors the development of solutions to fleet problems.You will define plans and execute projects which deal with fleet issues resulting from fleet/department requirements.RequirementsConditions of EmploymentQualificationsYour resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower level NT-04 (GS-11/12) analyzing management and business processes of an organization by application of qualitative or quantitative analytical techniques to measure the effectiveness and efficiency of administrative or technical programs and assist in process improvement efforts. A BQ military spouse possesses knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies comparable to others who meet the competitive referral criteria for the specific position.
