RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce is immediately seeking an experienced Unified Communications (UC) Engineer for their Global, Enterprise Cloud and Networking Technology client in Raleigh, North Carolina (NC).


This engineering role will be responsible for:
Support Cloud and Hybrid Products: Jabber IM (Cloud), WebEx Teams, CMR Cloud and Hybrid, WebEx Services (Call, Message, Meet), WebEx Teams Hybrid Services, along with phone and conferencing endpoints connected to the Cloud
Developing orchestration and management tools that enable the automation of cloud deployment, configuration, scaling, high availability, and production readiness for our cloud infrastructure across multiple data centers and cloud platforms
Understanding the voice informed design opinions regarding infrastructure security
Deploy and operate infrastructure through automation (using python, NSO, etc.) and management applications
Understand and be able to design and operate QoS enabled applications on LAN and WAN
Building and maintaining Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery/Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. You will work within a dynamic and fast-paced development environment with developers, operations, and product owners to design, develop, and deliver premier software solutions

REQUIREMENTS:
7-10 years of overall experience in Collaboration technologies with technical consulting or direct customer interfacing/engagement role
Candidate must have the skillset to Virtually deliver a solution in an accelerated environment
Candidate must be proficient in tailoring deliverables and driving quantifiable business outcomes with scope and timely engagement
Hands-on experience building reliable, serviceable Unified Communication infrastructure in enterprise campus understanding existing Architectures and designs
Experience designing, deploying, configuring, supporting, troubleshooting, debugging, and administering the voice and video products, solutions, and devices for medium, large, and/or enterprise customers
Experience in designing and deploying large scale UCM clusters and WebEx cloud calling, messaging and meeting capabilities
Good knowledge of protocols such as VOIP, H.323, SIP, RTP, SRTP, MGoogle Cloud Platform, SIP, RTCP, VXML
Experience working on voice gateways, dial-peers, and unified call processing
Exposure to codec configurations - G.711a-law, G.729a, G.729b
Exposure to TMS, Expressway, MRA, Conductor, CMS and Jabber soft phones
Experience with UCS, BE6K, BE7K
Experience working on directory integration such as Microsoft AD, LDAP
Experience with Linux, Knowledge in the following areas: Call Control, Multimedia Contact Centers, Call Scripts, and IVR Scripts
