As a Strategic Finance Associate, you will be the financial adviser to the team responsible for creative IP development. Specifically, you will support the team who is working with a variety of external developers. You'll use your strategic mindset and analytical wizardry to advise your teams on better decision-making from a strategic and financial lens.
Responsibilities:

  • Build/maintain dashboards and management reports that help business partners interpret their financial performance and key performance indicators
  • Assist in updating budgets and forecasts of future company performance
  • Prepare variance analysis of actuals vs budgets and liaise with other finance leads and project managers
  • Record and reconcile purchase and invoice payment
  • Assist in procurement & purchasing and identify ways to improve and streamline the process
  • Work closely with the accounting department to review key journal entries, record monthly accruals, identify and resolve discrepancies, and make various on-top adjustments.
  • Assist in performing quantitative analysis of operational and financial data
  • Develop financial models to assess operations and future performance
  • Develop presentation decks outlining financial data with clear narratives
  • Assist in performing ad hoc analysis for senior leaders as required
Required Qualifications:
  • Strong financial modeling experience and solid accounting foundation with the ability to easily translate high-level input and ideas into financial or operating models
  • A positive, collaborative attitude that inspires confidence and motivates partners to meet challenges head-on
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in FP&A and/or accounting roles
Desired qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s in Finance, Business Administration or Economics preferred
  • CPA, CIMA or MBA preferred
