For more information visit.ResponsibilitiesPosition Summary:The incumbent performs the primary function of an RN in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of patients in the, Infusion, Radiology, Palliative Care and PICC line services. The incumbent is also responsible for meeting the established WHC Standards of Nursing Practice in the management of all assigned patients. The incumbent assists physicians with the development and implementation of wound treatment plans and participates in performance improvement review activities. The incumbent acts within the guidelines of federal and state laws, Joint Commission Standards and professional and ethical practice, will participate in patient care in the Radiology, Infusion, Palliative Care and PICC line services.QualificationsMinimum Qualifications:Current California Registered Nursing (RN) license
Associates degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing
Two (2) years of wound care experience required
Wound Care Certificate required within 6 months of hire
Infusion and radiology procedural experience required
Verbal and written communication skills and computer skills required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
Preferred Qualifications:Three (3) years of previous acute care nursing experience preferred
Willing to become PICC line certified
