The ideal candidate holds an associate’s degree in accounting or related field—or has at least three years of equivalent experience. They should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, be a team-oriented professional, and be able to perform complex nonprofit accounting tasks with excellent organization, coordination, and internal-control awareness. Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel, and related accounting systems is required, with the ability to learn Donor Perfect as needed. The role may involve supervising staff or volunteers, preparing budgets, and completing diverse fiscal responsibilities.
