From The Hearth Cafe & Bakery is looking for an experienced line cooks, baristas, bakers, team members, and managers who have the ambition, character, and ability to become strong team leaders. We are a rapidly expanding company and have recently opened a fourth café location in Downtown Redding. We are looking not just for employees, but for leaders who desire to be promoted as we grow.
While we do not always have open positions for these jobs we are always accepting resumes and interviewing so that we can have the strongest, most driven team possible. General Experience for each position requires:
Line Cook... 2+ years experience in a commercial kitchen. Proficient knife skills, food prep, and sandwich/salad building. Ability to work well with a team, multi-task, and work with a sense of urgency on shift. Willing to continue to learn and improve abilities in the kitchen.
Work can often be hard, but it is much harder working with people who do not have a great attitude and a strong work ethic. Our cafes, drive thrus, and bakery are busy, but our staff is great, and we enjoy working with each other. We are looking to hire people who seek to be an encouragement to our staff and our customers.
